Not at all. ChatAxon uses a lightweight, headless React architecture. All AI processing happens asynchronously on our cloud servers. The widget script is excluded from caching and minification plugins to guarantee consistent behavior with zero impact on your Core Web Vitals.

No. ChatAxon uses strict RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation). It can only answer based on your actual product catalog and store pages. If it doesn’t know the answer, it will say so or escalate — it will never guess or make up information.

For WooCommerce: zero coding required — install the plugin, paste the API key, done. For other platforms: paste your feed URL in the dashboard and drop one script tag on your site. If you have a completely custom backend, a developer needs about 30 minutes to create a simple JSON endpoint.

You provide a feed URL (Google Merchant XML, Shopify, or our JSON format). For real-time updates, your backend fires a single POST request to our webhook endpoint whenever products change — we re-index everything in the background within seconds.
